The performance is based on how well the individual networks do. We joined because we were invited by networks that were not listed on their network page, so our approval process went smoother. Adify is actually more of a manager than an ad network.

adknowledge offers targeted CPC graphic and text ads, as well as email and search campaigns. They use behavioral targeting to serve the most relevant ads, and boast having over 50,000 advertisers vying for your ad space.

AdOn Network offers CPM (they call it CPV--cost per view--for some reason) text and graphic ads. You can't sign up online--you will need to shoot them an email and a representative will contact you.

ad pepper can provide exclusive or non-exclusive representation for your ad inventory. They offer many types of CPM ads including graphic, contextual, and integrated text links.

ADSDAQ runs text and graphical CPM ads and allows you to set your CPM rate. They also use performance stats to serve the highest performing ads first, which benefits both the advertiser and publisher.

Adsmart serves the U.S. and U.K. extensively, requiring a minimum of either 70% USA traffic or 70% UK traffic, and 100,000 monthly page views. They offer CPM and CPC campaigns and pays out 55% of net sales revenue.

adsonar claims to "raise the relevancy bar" by delivery content-targeted ads better than other networks. Advertisers bid for placement and run if it meets your minimum bid requirement.

Our experience: They claim 100% sellout of your inventory (no defaults or PSA) although much of the fill could be CPC ads. You get an account manager that is supposed to hand pick the ads on your site, but our account manager didn't seem to have very high quality standards. We didn't use them for very long after seeing the ads that were showing (which we had no control over). For a network with such high requirements for their publishers (500,000 page views/month), they don't follow through with high performance rates.

AdToll allows you to set your own price and pays 75% commission. They offer CPM and CPC ads in all the standard ad units, including Video Ads as well as a new ad unit called a Peel Away Ad where an ad is hidden under your page and is activated upon a mouseover by a user.

Advertising.com claims to be the largest online advertising network. They offer rev-share, CPA, and CPM pricing options that you can set the minimum for. You need a healthy two million impressions per month to join (their affiliate program does not have a minimum traffic requirement).

Amazon Associates is one of the most popular affiliate programs because it is easy to sign up and implement. Amazon offers many different types of ad units to fit your needs (automated ads or publisher generated links for specific products). If a visitor clicks on your link and actually purchases something from Amazon, you get a percentage of the sale.

AzoogleAds is a large affiliate network serving CPA ads from Fortune 1000 and Fortune 500 companies. They offer solutions for search, web and email campaigns.

Bannerconnect specializes in both US and EU markets and offer 100% fill rate for worldwide traffic. If you get substantial traffic around the world, they can provide the inventory for those page views. They offer CPM, CPC and CPA ads.

BannerSpace offers different levels of representation depending on your traffic and exclusivity. They can take over your entire sales department by putting a team on your site and managing your entire inventory. They can also work with your existing sales team to fill remnant inventory. For small to mid-sized sites (less than 20,000 daily page views), they work like most ad networks, supplying CPM/CPC ads to fill up your inventory.

BardozoMedia provides "targeted and optimized" graphic ads to publishers at at a net share of 70%. They cover the U.S., Canada, and Europe.

BidVertiser serves CPC text ads on your site as well as your feed. Rates are determined by advertisers who bid on your ad space. Terrible rates and terrible advertisers

BlogAds specializes in selling advertisement on blogs. Their ad unit combines images with mult-linked text. You can set your own prices (they take 30%) and write your own blog description to sell your ad space. You need to be invited by a current blog member in order to join.

Blue FN is an ad network that features financial services advertisers. All their ads are either CPC or CPA and your site must contain finance-related content.

BlueLithium uses behavioral targeting to "buy audiences, not inventory" to delivery big results for both advertiser and publisher. They offer CPM, CPC, CPL and CPA ads which include rich media formats as well.

Bravenet Media supports on-site advertising programs, email sponsorships, co-registration forms, and other specialty media programs. They only accepts sites with a minimum of 1 million ad views per month.

Burst Media has two different programs in their network. Burst Network focuses on Target Advertising sold on a CPM basis. Non-targeted Advertising campaigns are sold at lower CPMs and include CPC ads to fill up inventory. They keep 50% of the ad revenue but offer better rates for publishers who agree to one year or three years exclusivity. Burst Direct is the other program they offer that run performance-driven campaigns. They take a much smaller cut (35%), but the revenue potential is probably more uncertain. You must have a private policy page on your site. And only use IE to apply -- their application form doesn't seem to work on FireFox.

BuzzLogic

Chitika offers one-of-a-kind ad products that provides powerful and integrated promotions. They are all CPA ads for products, so is a good network to use if your site is related to shopping or has a good tie in with products. Chitika offers a wide variety of categories and ad units to choose from, so you have more control over the type of products to feature instead of depending on keywords to be picked up by their ad server.

ClickBank is an affiliate network with over 10,000 products available. Commissions range from 1% to 75% with a minimum commission for a single sale at $0.25 and the maximum at $100.

Clickbooth is an affiliate network that has been around for more than a few years. They test all their offers to ensure income potential and gives weekly payouts to top publishers. They also donate a portion of their revenue to charitable causes.

Clicksor offers both inline text ads as well as targeted text and graphic ads in various sizes. You can choose from CPC, CPM, or CPV ads and earn up to 60% of the ad revenue share. Their system will evaluate the content on your page and serve relevant, contextual ads.

clixGalore is an affiliate network offering text and graphic ads to promote merchants and earn commission.

COPEAC offers affiliates top payouts and quick payments using an optimization system that drives traffic to the strongest performing landing pages, increasing conversion rates. Their team will also work with you to create designs that optimize exposure for immediate results.

Copernic Media Solutions supports CPC, CPM, and CPA campaigns and serve targeted ads based on your category. They also offer search listings and branded services for sites that use search tools.

CPA Empire focuses on providing a high level of affiliate support to help your campaigns do well. Their initiatives include banner ads, text ads, search marketing, and email promotions. They have over 700 live campaigns.

CrispAds caters to blogs and serves contextual graphic and text ads based on the keywords and advertisers you select. Most are CPC ads unless ads are purchased as a monthly sponsorship at the rate you set. Unlike most networks that have a minimum payout of $25-$100, their minimum is set at a low $5.

CX Digital Media is an affiliate network offering CPA campaigns from Fortune 1000 clients. Benefits include twice monthly payments and a rewards program where affiliates can claim prizes based on the money earned. They require 5,000 impressions per month to join.

Direct Media Exchange auctions impressions to the highest-paying ad network. FeedBurner is a popular network that offers advertising for your feed as well as your site. Their site ads include Google Adsense to get the most inventory fill for your space. Even though FeedBurner does not have a minimum feed count to serve ads, advertisers are unlikely to purchase feeds with low numbers.

Flux Advertising is an affiliate network running performance based ads. An account manager will be assigned to you to help guide you to the promotions and offers best suited for your site. Our experience: ValueClick has a wide variety of ads ranging in quality and rate. You can get a decent net CPM, but constant monitoring is required to maintain a desired quality and CPM level. But their interface is user friendly, so the daily process isn't terribly painful, but still time consuming. Additionally, the first time you activate an ad unit, be prepared to get carpal tunnel as you go through and remove the check mark from a tiny box for maybe a hundred ads.

There are no universal guidelines for creating ambigrams. Ambigrammists have different ways of approaching problems. A number of ambigrammists have published information on the methods they use. Langdon's WordPlay and Burkhard Polster's Eye Twisters, in particular, contain information useful to new ambigrammists.

There have been a few attempts at automated creation of ambigrams, two of which have been available on the Internet. The first, the letter-based ambigram generator Ambigram.matic, was created in 1996 by David Holst, using a database of 351 letter glyphs, in which each letter mapped to another letter. The generator could only map a word to itself or to another word that was the same length. Because of this, most of the generated ambigrams were of poor quality.

The second generator, the Glyphusion generator, is used by FlipScript (a web retailer of personalized ambigram products) and other companies, and was created in 2007. According to the company, the Glyphusion generator uses a database of more than 200,000 parts of letters[13]. Because the generator uses parts of letters, its results are significantly better than the earlier letter-based generator, but is still limited when compared with a human artist. It currently (2009) generates ambigrams in two lettering styles (blackletter and a cursive blackletter) and it cannot produce ambigrams in some cases.

Ambigrams are exercises in graphic design that play with optical illusions, symmetry and visual perception. Some ambigrams feature a relationship between their form and their content. Ambigrams usually fall into one of several categories:

Rotational
A design that presents several instances of words when rotated through a fixed angle. This is usually 180 degrees, but rotational ambigrams of other angles exist, for example 90 or 45 degrees. The word spelled out from the alternative direction(s) is often the same, but may be a different word to the initially presented form. A simple example is the lower-case abbreviation for "Down", dn, which looks like the lower-case word up when rotated 180 degrees.
Mirror-image
A design that can be read when reflected in a mirror, usually as the same word or phrase both ways. Ambigrams that form different words when viewed in the mirror are also known as glass door ambigrams, because they can be printed on a glass door to be read differently when entering or exiting.
Figure-ground
A design in which the spaces between the letters of one word form another word.
Chain
A design where a word (or sometimes words) are interlinked, forming a repeating chain. Letters are usually overlapped meaning that a word will start partway through another word. Sometimes chain ambigrams are presented in the form of a circle.
Space-filling
Similar to chain ambigrams, but tile to fill the 2-dimensional plane.
Spinonym
An ambigram in which all the letters are made of the same glyph, possibly rotated and/or inverted. WEB is an example of a word that can easily be made into a spinonym.
Fractal
A version of space-filling ambigrams where the tiled word branches from itself and then shrinks in a self-similar manner, forming a fractal. See Scott Kim's fractal of the word TREE for an animated example.

3-dimensional
A design where an object is presented that will appear to read several letters or words when viewed from different angles. Such designs can be generated using constructive solid geometry.
Perceptual shift (also called an oscillation)
A design with no symmetry but can be read as two different words depending on how the curves of the letters are interpreted.
Natural
A natural ambigram is a word that possesses one or more of the above symmetries when written in its natural state, requiring no typographic styling. For example, the words "dollop", "suns" and "pod" form natural rotational ambigrams. In some fonts, the word "swims" forms a natural rotational ambigram. The word "bud" forms a natural mirror ambigram when reflected over a vertical axis. The words "CHOICE" and "OXIDE", in all capitals, form natural mirror ambigrams when reflected over a horizontal axis. The word "TOOTH", in all capitals, forms a natural mirror ambigram when its letters are stacked vertically and reflected over a vertical axis.

Symbiotogram
An ambigram that, when rotated 180 degrees, can be read as a different word to the original.citation needed
Multi-lingual
An ambigram that can be read one way in one language and another way in a different language. Multi-lingual ambigrams can exist in all of the various styles of ambigrams, with multi-lingual perceptual shift ambigrams being particularly striking.
Ambigraf
A style of ambigrams which abide by the conventions of ambigrams but are designed in the graffiti style in terms of line and shape- and context- written on walls as stencils. It is an artform developed by artist SlantOne.citation needed

Invention and popularity of Ambigram

Ambigrams have been independently invented by a number of artists. According to John Langdon, ambigrams were independently invented by himself and by Scott Kim in the 1970s.2 Langdon and Kim are probably the two artists who have been most responsible for their popularization, but other artists, notably Robert Petrick, who designed the Angel logo, claim to be independent inventors. Some earlier ambigrams are known, but each of the artists created those ambigrams created only one or a few.

The earliest known non-natural ambigram dates to 1893 by artist Peter Newell. Although more well known for his children's books and illustrations for Mark Twain and Lewis Carroll, he published two books of invertible illustrations, in which the picture turns into a different image entirely when turned upside down. The last page in his book, Topsys & Turvys contains the phrase THE END, which, when inverted, reads PUZZLE. In Topsys & Turvys Number 2 (1902), Newell ended with a variation on the ambigram in which THE END changes into PUZZLE .

From June to September, 1908, the British monthly The Strand published a series of ambigrams by different people in its "Curiosities" column. Of particular interest is the fact that all four of the people submitting ambigrams believed them to be a rare property of particular words. Mitchell T. Lavin, whose "chump" was published in June wrote "I think it is in the only word in the English language which has this peculiarity," while Clarence Williams wrote, about his "Bet" ambigram, "Possibly B is the only letter of the alphabet that will produce such an interesting anomaly."

In 1969, Raymond Loewy designed the NEW MAN logo, which is still in use today. The DeLorean Motor Company logo was first used in 1975.

Kim used the name Inversions as the title of his first collection in 1981. The first published reference to the term "ambigram" was by Hofstadter, who attributed the origin of the word to conversations among a small group of friends during 1983–1984. The original 1979 edition of Hofstadter's Gödel, Escher, Bach featured two 3-D ambigrams on the cover.

Ambigrams became much more popular as a result of Dan Brown incorporating them into the plot of his bestseller, Angels & Demons; Langdon produced ambigrams that were used for the book cover, and a link to his website from Brown's meant he was "suddenly inundated" with commissions. Brown used the name Robert Langdon for the hero in his novels as an homage to John Langdon.

Today, ambigrams are available on a variety of products and have become popular for tattoos.

In this post I will cover two of the most basic ways to get started making money online.

The first of these is the most obvious and common way – Paid Surveys. It is simple to start and you set the limit on your earnings depending on the time you have to put toward them. I am sure you have heard of websites that offer lists of companies lining up to pay your for your opinion. What you probably don’t realize is that not all of these sites are the same. Some sites offer these lists for free and some require a membership fee to gain access. So what is the difference and why pay for a list? The sites that require a membership fee include surveys that on average pay more per survey than the free survey sites. A few months ago I found the Brainy Money Blog, written by a guy named Josh who detailed an interesting account of his pursuit of making money on eHow. Josh set a goal to write two eHow articles per day for 8 weeks - equaling 112 total articles, after the eight weeks were over Josh had earned $146.22 from these articles. That may seem like a low number for 56 hours of work. (One hour a day spent writing two articles.) But here's the kicker, Josh's numbers will only increase each month from now on! Josh will earn at least $146.22 every month exponentially. So while his hourly wage might be $2.61 per hour this past month, this wage will increase each month.

Some of the additional tools I use and would highly recommend although they will need to be purchased include: SEO Elite and Webcomp Analyzer.

The “how to make money online” niche is extremely challenging to break into and receive a large amount of organic search traffic. It is my recommendation to start with something a bit easier if you are hoping to make a living from internet marketing in the near future. At bare minimum I would recommend targeting a few other niches at the same time. The Samsung Pixon is touchscreen phone, somewhat similar to the LG Renoir. Like the LG, the unit has an 8-megapixel camera. What is new for me personally is that it is not smartphone. Since the Nokia 7650, I only walk around with Symbian and Windows Mobile devices . In addition to the camera, I will also examine the operation system in this review.
